In an effort to "rejoice always" I will be posting thoughts each day about the best part of my day.
4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. Helping a friend and talking youth
Tonight I rejoice in the chance to help a good friend with some stuff for work. Some may say that the job I had to do, entering random info into a database, is monotonous and boring. But, after having gone so long without a job, it felt good to know I was doing something worthwhile and I actually kind of enjoyed it. I like paying attention to detail and making sure things are done correctly. I also rejoice in our monthly youth leaders meeting. Planning and dreaming with others who love Jesus AND high school students is one of my favorite places to be. It makes two hour long meetings seem to go by quickly :)
