In an effort to "rejoice always" I will be posting thoughts each day about the best part of my day.
4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. The Show Must Go On
It's Living Nativity weekend at my church. What is Living Nativity you may ask? Well it's only one of the coolest presentations of the Christmas story that I've ever seen. But, it's supposed to be outside. And it's been pouring down rain for the past two days. So, we've moved inside. Not quite as cool, but still an awesome and humbling show. Tonight I rejoice in the fact that I am blessed to be a part of a church that is flexible...and willing to do what it takes to make things happen...and who comes together in order that we can be a blessing to our community.
