Sun and Soak City

I spent the day at Soak City with my fun high school kids today. I rejoice in the fact that I was there to "hang out" with high schoolers and not "work" with elementary school kids :) As much as I miss those kiddos, it was so nice to be able to just relax and have fun and not be stressed out about head counts and such. It made it even better when I ran into staff and campers from my old program. As I said to one of them, "good to see you, glad I'm not you". I also rejoice in the fact that being jobless this summer has allowed me to spend so much time with the youth group. I'm convinced that since that was the last event of the summer, a job should be coming along sometime soon:) I rejoice in the fact that God will provide in his perfect timing.
